Hello there its Peter here again and
welcome to writer's life with more tips
and advice for writers and coming up
today how to create viral posts now
whether you're looking to increase your
Facebook page followers get more people
reading your blog or boost your Twitter
following writing a viral post can get
you noticed as not only will that
particular piece of content be shared
over and over again but people will
search out more of the same from you
while many authors roll their eyes the
thoughts of dedicating time and energy
to social media doing so can not only
widen your readership but can also make
you more appealing to agents and
publishers as well it's no mean feed to
get your content seen by the right
people and sometimes it can feel that no
matter how hard you try it's challenging
to get people to engage so if you want
to gain some serious attention and
increase your chances of creating a post
that goes viral what can you do here are
some helpful tips first pay attention to
your lists you shouldn't just be posting
content that doesn't say anything you
need your content to matter start by
creating information informative lists
that offer exciting and smart insights
that teach people how to do something
quickly and effectively next stay up to
date if you want to increase your
chances of going viral
you need to make sure you are reporting
on the most
recent trends products lessons talks
insights and so forth in your particular
niche stay up-to-date and completely in
the know around your topic and then
think of exciting angles and creative
ways to comment on next become an
authority if you want people to pay
attention to what you have to say you
need to promote yourself positioning
yourself as an authority in that subject
learn everything that you can about your
niche and then learn some more be
completely confident in what he is
saying gain the trust of your audience
by gathering reviews and testimonials
from others who are willing to shout
about the fact that you are a bit of an
expert in your field and next be unique
and be yourself the most important thing
to remember however is to stand out from
the crowd you can do all the above and
still not get anywhere because everyone
else is doing the exact same thing
however if you are saying something
nobody else is saying if you're using
your unique voice and take on the world
to cause a bit of an Oprah or open
people's eyes or make them think in a
different way that's what's going to
make people want to share and engage
with your content so every single time
you write a post you need to think about
what it is you're saying and who you are
saying it to and about how you are
saying it be bold be creative be
humorous if he can if he can take a
proper stand then that's what will make
the difference
don't be middle-of-the-road trust your
instincts go with your gut feeling and
say what you want to say viral posts
become so because they are saying
something that matters something that
resonates with people or tickles them or
gives them food for thought or
challenges
to see things differently so that is
what you should strive for above
anything else
doing so will mean you are staying true
to yourself and what you're believing
and no amounts of viral posts Facebook
shares or Twitter followers is more
important than that
and don't forget if you're struggling to
write or finish your book our free
writers toolkit can help with it you'll
learn how to overcome procrastination
stay focused get organized find time to
write and finally get your book
published to get access to it now while
it's still available simply go to

okay that's it for now be sure
to give us a thumbs up if you like this
video and yes you guessed it subscribe

Hello there and welcome to writer's life
my name's Peter and coming up this time
novelettes novellas novels what's the
difference when it comes to writing a
book there are many classifications a
writer should make sure they're aware of
the differences of writing a novel
compared to writing a novel at or
novella understanding what makes a novel
a novel a novella
a novella and so on will help writers
decide not only what kind of book they'd
like to write but also enable them to
familiarize themselves with the
structures the rules and the audiences
that will help to shape the book as they
write it so let's take a look at the
different types of book first let's take
a look at a novel at a novelette is a
more modern term and is used to describe
a book that's too short to be considered
a novella but too long to be regarded as
a short story this book type can be
ideal for new writers who want to
experiment with writing longer stories
yet can't yet commit to writing a full
novel a novel that would be around 7,500
words in length though as with all the
book types there is no exact work count
to define them and would focus on a
single character or a very minimal cast
of characters and on a single purpose or
journey next let's take a look at a
novel ax the concept of a novella came
about in the early Renaissance period
some famous examples of novellas include
a Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
and the metamorphosis by Kafka a novella
usually focuses on the main set of
characters and sticks to one plot
without digressing into subplots the
lens is around 20,000 to 30,000 words
so readers can get through the entire
story in one sitting this type of book
works well for writers who find the idea
of writing a full novel daunting or
perhaps no they have limited time and
want the satisfaction are completing
something sooner rather than later a
novella also works for those writers who
feel they've got a good story but wonder
perhaps doesn't suit the full-length
novel structure if a writer feels they
would be stretching their story adding
words just to get up to they're in quite
a length to be considered a novel
perhaps writing a novel that is an idea
that would sit far more comfortably with
them and next let's look at a novel and
no is the most common work of fiction
and most writers who set out to write a
book would commit themselves to write a
novel the length of a novel varies and
depends on the genre of the book fantasy
fiction and sci-fi novels tend to be
longer upwards of a hundred thousand
words where romance and general fiction
stories tend to be shorter a novel
usually contains a whole myriad of
character scenes twists actions
decisions and subplots that take place
alongside the main story because of how
long it is
it'll be read over days or weeks novels
ever and flow rise and fall and usually
take place over a longer period of time
the beauty of a novel is that it takes
the readers on a journey and invites
them into a world in which they can live
for a while all types of books of course
have similarities and give writers great
insight into how to put together a piece
of fiction writing that is a beginning
middle and end and involves characters
that readers can relate to and
err about those who familiarize
themselves with a different book types
give themselves more options more room
to experiment with length and style and
ultimately can choose a book type to
suit their story rather than trying to
make their story fit into something not
quite right and that will result in a
better book on a story told exactly as
it should be
what's not to like about that and don't
forget if it struggling to write or
finish your book our three writers tool

to overcome procrastination get

Hello again is Peter here again from a
writer's life and coming up today how to
promote yourself on Amazon Kindle Amazon
is one of the most popular marketplaces
for buying books whether they be fiction
or nonfiction or even scholarly texts in
fact almost any book in any genre can be
found on Amazon and it's a great place
to find exciting new reading material at
a bargain price one of the wonderful
things about Amazon is that it has an
easy self-publishing facility where
authors from all over the world who have
all different kinds of interests and
experience can get their books up on the
site for sale and available to download
onto a Kindle if you decide to go down
this route the next step is
understanding how to promote yourself on
Amazon Kindle to ensure you sell as many
books as possible the success of your
book largely depends on how much time
and effort you're willing to put in to
promote it however if you are just
starting out here are some things that
every author should do first populate
keyword search if people can't find your
book how are they going to buy it
populating the keyword search will
improve the likelihood of your book
showing up in search results use words
that apply to your book's title or topic
get some good reviews nothing improves
the success of sales like good word of
mouth if you can encourage customers who
bought your book to leave some positive
feedback this could have a considerable
impact on sales they don't even have to
have bought your book via Amazon
directly as long as they have an account
they are welcome to leave feedback next
create an author page
and author page will give your readers
information about you here you can write
your own bio put up a picture and link
to social media and your website if you
have one people with interesting
readable author pages
engage the reader and therefore make
them more likely to buy next
understanding reviewer ranking your
reviews are moved by Amazon based on how
well Amazon thinks they were written and
how helpful they will be to other
perspective customers if you want a good
review move to the top of your review
list rather than a neutral or on
flattering one you need to get this
voted as the most helpful and relevant
so do bear this in mind next create a
great cover when you upload your book to
Amazon you can choose from a selection
of pre-designed covers for your book a
personal cover however one that has been
designed specifically for your book will
make it look far more professional and
it's likely to spot much more interest
and next self promotion put a link to
your book wherever you can social media
on your website at the bottom of your
email on business cards etc any chance
you have to remind people they can buy
your book and where to buy it
is another potential sale there are also
plenty of forums online way to promote
your book for free so make sure these
take advantage of all these to maximize
your sale potential next do a deal
you can offer a discount or a period of
time where people can buy your book for
free and having this kind of promotion
can see a huge increase in the number of
books being bought even though you won't
be making any money while doing so it
still increases your chance of being
talked about so getting your book out
there and read by as many people as
possible
the most important thing remember it's
all about quality hard work and
determination
make sure your book is the best version
it can be so proofread and edit before
you put it up for sale then be as
creative and ingenious as you like in
marketing and promoting your book in
every way possible we're lucky to be in
a world where there are so many
opportunities to do listen so take
advantage of them you never know and
just might catch on and don't forget if
you're struggling to write or finish
your book all three writers toolkit can
help with it you'll learn how to

Hello again is Peter here from a
writer's life and this time fight for
your right to write let's face it
sometimes writing is a struggle
sometimes it feels like the whole world
is against you that's it's full of
people putting you down and people tell
you that you're just not good enough
writing is a highly competitive world
full of uncertainty rejection and
evidence that it's practically
impossible to get noticed or to make
your stamp even in a modest way writing
is hard it takes a lot of effort it
takes study and practice it's an
emotional struggle it's tiring
frustrating and can be an utterly
thankless task yet we still do it
sometimes you've got to fight for your
right to write because the writing
journey is littered with obstacles that
you have to overcome let's look at some
of the most common battles you might
find yourself up against when you write
first yourself writers could often be
the very most significant obstacle to
their own success self-doubt can
infiltrate every part of the writing
process causing all sorts of mayhem from
writer's block procrastination and
self-sabotage to writers envy and
becoming such a perfectionist that your
honor able to let your manuscript go it
can be a constant battle against your
own inner demons to keep writing and get
your work to the point where you can
share it with the world
next your critics every writer that has
been brave enough to put themselves out
there will have faced their share of
criticism whether that comes in the form
of rejection letters
or emails a bad review or simply someone
saying something less than positive or
encouraging before you've got your
manuscript finished your critics can be
tough to overcome next the writing world
the way the writing world is set up
isn't exactly friendly to the very
people is supposed to be for the
competition makes it virtually
impossible to land a traditional
publishing deal or to get your work
noticed if you choose to self publish
there are so many stories out there it's
hard to be original and no longer is it
just about being a talented writer you
have to be a savvy marketer and competes
and social media manipulator - getting
over the numerous obstacles that litter
a writer's path to success can be tricky
and that's why many would-be writers
just find it too difficult to continue
if you do manage to keep writing to keep
going into battle in spite of everything
you should be proud of yourself
so why not celebrate your bravery all
writers should rejoice in the fact that
they are following their dreams that
they are fighting for their right to be
heard to have their say and to get your
stories out there in the world and don't
forget if it's thrilling to write or
finish your book our free rights as
toolkit can help will it you'll find how
to overcome procrastination get
organized stay focused
find types right and finally get your
book published to get access to it now
while it's still available simply go to
that's it for now be sure
to give us a thumbs up as always if you

Hello there is Peter here again from
writers life with more tips and advice
for you and today how to promote your
writing on social media getting your
writing scene is one of the most
significant problems writers base you
can be as talented and hardworking as
you like but without your writing
reaching the right audiences it's
challenging to become successful the
rise of social media is both a blessing
and a curse for writers never has there
been a greater opportunity to promote
your writing yourself but because of
this the competition is fiercer than
ever before so it's all too easy for
your writing however brilliant to get
lost amongst a sea of other voices all
clamoring to be heard understanding how
to leverage social media to your
advantage can be critical building a
following can menial work reaches your
target audience is shared by your fans
and reaches new audiences too but how do
you do it here are some useful tips
first join online communities about your
niche whatever you're writing about you
must have a target audience in mind so
find them and reach out to them you
could write about almost any topic and
you're practically guaranteed there are
groups of people out there that have
joined together to form communities
because they're interested in join those
communities and become active ask
questions reach out to people and then
occasionally
appropriate link back to your writing to
see if they'll take the bait next
scheduled posts in advance if you want
to use social media correctly you need
to get organized and be consistent don't
just randomly write a tweet or post a
Facebook post every once in a while
start to build up a bank of material
engage with your followers at least a
few times a week and schedule your posts
so they go out and consistent times this
way your audience will know when they
can expect new content from you a next
interact with others social media is all
about communicating if you want your
writing to do well you need to be
willing to put in some effort make sure
that you take time to build
relationships with others comment and
like their work and be genuine and
honest if you only use social media to
promote yourself and keep everything
businesslike and transactional it'll be
harder to truly engage with people and
build a loyal following a next one right
for publications right for publications
that already have a strong social media
presence despite doing all of these
things it can still be hard to build up
a following on social media so why not
take the shortcut interacts with other
publications write guest posts and
promote them instead this way you're
giving back but the world will also be
avoiding looking like you all you want
to do is to promote yourself and get
exposed to more people while you're
writing so really you can't lose
promoting your writing on
Emilia isn't rocket science however to
do so successfully takes time
planning and effort use these tips to

hello there this is writers life and my
name's Peter and coming up today how to
write a book in six months we are often
told that writing a book can take a long
drawn-out process that takes up loads of
time and energy and requires serious
dedication from the writer this is true
well almost true the real truth is that
writing a book takes as long as it takes
but if you want to give yourself a
challenge there's no reason why you
couldn't get the first draft of your
novel written in as little as six months
here's how first commit once you've
decided this is what you want to do you
have got to give it everything be wholly
committed to the writing process and
don't let anything get in your way
the most important thing is having
determination and commitment above
anything else so get yourself fired up
before you begin and don't give up no
matter what tell others what you've
decided what you want to do don't be
afraid to share your secret tell your
colleagues your friends your loved ones
tell everyone and anyone who will listen
the more people you tell the harder it
will be to go back make excuses or to
lose momentum make a plan before you

a piece of string if you are trying to
write one in a short space of time it's
good to have some idea of how long you
want it to be say you're aiming to write
a novel that's 90,000 words from here
you can work out how many words you need
to get written a day in six months to

Hello again my name's Peter welcome
along to writers life and coming up
today more tips and advice for you this
time
stop being an ordinary writer when it
comes to writing being ordinary is not
an option with all the competition out
there if you don't do something
different something extraordinary that
makes people sit up pay attention and
want to find out more your writing will
become lost in a sea of other voices all
competing to be heard so what does being
extraordinary mean beyond what is
ordinary or usual be highly exceptional
and remarkable that's the actual
definition but applying that to one's
writing it's a little more complicated
many of us shy away from the title of
writer
despite writing productively for years
we can often feel unworthy of such lofty
accolade
and feel only when we've sold a billion
books or become a number one bestseller
that we can be as arrogant as to call
ourselves such being a writer can also
conjure up visions of a tragic or wildly
adventurous life one that's entirely
unlike the typical nine-to-five working
day family dinners doing mundane chores
and a Saturday morning trip to Starbucks
being the most exciting thing that
happens to you all week leading an
ordinary life however doesn't mean that
you're right II can't be extraordinary
most great writers didn't start that way
and had pretty mundane jobs before they
were able to write full-time
in a way see what's extraordinary about
the ordinary is what makes successful
writers stand out there are a few whose
life seemed to take unbelievable
jaw-dropping twists and turns however
for many of us daily life is pretty
monotonous not necessarily in a bad way
but we all have our little routines the
thing that's great about that is that
our readers do too and readers like to
be able to relate that doesn't mean that
your story should include painstaking
details of everything that happens to
your characters from the moments they
wake up to the moment they fall asleep
but rather including details of ordinary
daily life can help to create a
believable character and a believable
world however writers must choose their
words to make the ordinary interesting
they must find Beauty or tragedy in the
simplest of the things the way someone
sweeps the floor unknowing look an
ordered house these images can be
beautifully conveyed and tell the reader
so much more than what they are saying
on the surface writers must also find
the truth the essence of things they
must be able to get back to the very
purest form of an emotion they must be
able to make connections and convey
thoughts and feelings in a way that
draws readers in and helps them to feel
inextricably linked to the characters
and their journeys within the story of
course being an extraordinary writer
isn't just about having the ability to
take what is ordinary and making
extraordinary it's also about the
dedication to
craft itself a successful writer is
exceptional simply because of the time
effort and energy they put into their
world truly committing to the art
takes courage determination and a pretty
thick skin
so writers are already highly remarkable
creatures just because of the nature of
what they do so to be extraordinary you
don't have to discount the life you have
however ordinary it may seem there's
beauty and greatness and Wonder in the
everyday and it is a remarkable writer
that can transform these seemingly
ordinary pieces of life into something
that is truthful and beautiful and
utterly captivating and don't forget if
it's struggling to write or finish your
book why not try our free writers
toolkit it'll certainly help you with it
you'll learn how to overcome
procrastination get organized
stay focused find time to write and
finally get your book published to get

hi and welcome to writer's life my
name's Peter and coming up today unusual
ways to get people to read your writing
getting people to read your book can be
a considerable challenge here are some
useful ways to get more people
interested in your writing
first use social media okay so we know
that social media isn't an unusual tip
but it really depends on how you use it
you are an author you are creative you
don't have to promote your book
traditionally instead think of smart
strategic ways to get more followers or
grab people's attention then promote
your book as an aside to that next make
a book trailer creates a trailer for
your book to tell the story visually and
make it appeal to a mass audience your
book trailer will give potential readers
an insight into what the book is all
about we get them excited and intrigue
to read it make sure you include a link
to your book at the end next ask people
to send pictures of them with your book
people love getting involved and feeling
as though they are connected to the
author so reach out to your fans
and ask them to take pictures of
themselves with your book in unusual
locations put these on your website
something fun like this will make your
book seem more popular and could catch
on to boost sales
next creates a competition everyone
loves a good competition and so try to
think outside the box and create a
contest to have potential readers
interested in your work and excited
about reading your book and next give a
talk about it getting out there and
meeting potential readers is the best
way to market and promote your book
think about its themes what would you
give a talk on that is relative if that
doesn't work then settle book readings
at local venues to promote your book and
next tap into book groups book groups
are a great way to get more people to
read your book find book groups either
locally or further afield and offer them
copies of your book to read next sell it
for charity set up a charity fundraiser
and sell copies of your book promising
to give all or part of the funds raised
from sales to the charity if the charity
links in with some of your books themes
even better get it translated but not
selling in your home country why not try
elsewhere get your book translated into
different languages and you could find
yourself a celebrated and famous author
in a foreign country instead include a
gift
everyone loves a freebie so why not
include something cute like a free
bookmark with every copy of your book to
try to boost sales yet video
testimonials people are more motivated
to buy something if they trust that it's
a quality product to make sure you get
as many positive reviews and
testimonials as you can make youtube
videos reading out what people have to
say to capture a different kind of
audience's attention join and discussion
forums if your book has particular
themes then find places online where
people are having relevant conversations
join them and you can promote your book
to an audience that's already invested
in your work keep it local is next take
your book along to craft fairs or
markets even jumble sales you might not
sell thousands of copies at once but if
you start small you never know how big
it could go by following these tips you
can get more people to read your writing
so why not give them a go and don't
forget if you're struggling to write or
finish your book our free rises to King
can help with it you'll learn how to
overcome procrastination stay focused
find time to write and finally get your
book published to get access to it now
while it's still available simply go to

hello there welcome along to a writer's
life my name is Peter and coming up this
time how to make your story flow there
are many elements that writers need to
consider when crafting a story we often
focus on plot characterization and
creating believable vivid words however
another point to consider is the flow of
the story good stories have a certain
rhythm they have peaks and troughs and
they ever and flow like a river running
to meet the sea stories should flow so
that they move seamlessly from one part
to the next during the reader in deeper
and deeper as they do so they should
have a movement that carries the reader
along taking them on an adventure right
to the very end however well you think
you have got your story down the smooth
flow isn't a given writers can easily
disrupt the flow of their stories
without meaning to this can disturb the
reader rudely interrupting them and
making it hard for them to jump back in
so what are these obstacles that get in
the way of the flow of the story and how
can writers avoidable first bad or
stilted of writing the main issue is the
hardest one to solve and that's bad
writing it's going to be almost
impossible for readers to feel as though
they are being carried along by the
story if the writing is so bad that
it's distracting this can be just the
way sentences are put together the
writer continually interrupting using
too many cliches or spelling and
grammatical mistakes and next confusing
writing another challenge is making sure
that your writing doesn't confuse the
reader it's easy for authors because
they know their characters and story so
well to write it in a way that don't
make sense to them can confuse the
reader and leave them feeling lost in
the story not sure of which way to say
next repetition of ideas or information
if you continuously repeat ideas or
information this will jar the reader and
interrupt the flow of the story trust
your reader and don't feel it necessary
to repeat things over and over doing so
will make it seem as though you've run
out of things to say and make the
writing and the story much weaker and
next the ordering of events and time
when writing a good story the order of
dates and time should be precise while
it's okay to play with time and the
order of events you need to be entirely
sure that doing so won't confuse your
reader if readers can't figure out the
sequence of events or have to turn back
to passages they have already read to
try and decipher what is happening above
when it will make it challenging for
them to immerse themselves in your story
the next inconsistencies inconsistencies
are also distracting to the reader and
we're making difficult for them to stay
focused on the plot if your reader is
wearing glasses in one scene and then
you talk about that 20/20 vision you
know
this won't sit right with the reader and
can break them out of that beautiful
world you've just created so what can
you do to ensure your story flows well
keep your reader in mind read your work
aloud cut any redundant passages or
words be eagle eye for inconsistencies
grammar and spelling errors paying
attention to the flow of motion of your
stories is essential use these tips to
make sure your writing moves forward
smoothly and carries your reader
effortlessly along with it and don't
forget if you're struggling to write or
finish your book our free writers
toolkit can help with it you'll learn
how to overcome procrastination get
organized
stay focused fine times are right and
finally get your book published to get
access now while it's still available
simply go to
okay that's it for now

hi there welcome along to a writer's
life experience
coming up for you this time how to be a
successful self-published author
becoming a successful self-published
author is possible
it takes time effort and strategic
planning but if you are willing to
dedicate yourself to your self-published
book success there's no reason why it
can't happen for you
here's how be sure that self-publishing
is the right way to go being an indie
author is no picnic before you assume
self-publishing is the way forward
really research and understand the
process and what you need to do to make
it happen asking yourself how much time
you can dedicate to the process and how
much you're willing to learn and take on
board are both critical questions to
consider before you press publish next
decide how much you need or want some
urn self-publishing if done well can be
way more lucrative than the traditional
model the money available to
self-published authors is enormous and
if you treat your book like a business
and yourself as a brand you can come up
with proper workable strategies to sell
more books if you're happy to treat your
book sales as a pleasant side income
then that's okay too the point is you
need to be clear with yourself about
what your goals are so you can then
figure out how to reach
it's a good idea to think about your
writing going forward also
self-published authors don't just stop
at one book so can you afford and do you
have the time to write say 1000 words a
day if you do you could finish around
five books a year the more you write the
more you'll have to sell and the more
potential your business has for profit
next write books that people want to
read sounds simple right
a no-brainer the point is that most
writers don't really honestly consider
what their reader is looking for they
write their story because they are so
passionate and desperate to have it
heard if you are honest with yourself
however you can be sure that there is an
audience out there clamoring to read it
probably not if you want to be a
successful self-published author you
need to look at what people are reading
and trends in the market and so on then
do your research learn about the genre
follow the rules in the formulas and you
can produce something that already has
an audience ready and waiting to read it
next gather your fans to be successful
you need to gather readers you need to
find ways to get people excited about
your book before it even hits the
shelves do this by building an email
list getting active on social media
having a great author website all of
this takes time and preparation and
needs to be done well in advance of
publishing your novel next never stop
once you publish your novel you need to
keep working on it promote it
continually keep researching where you
could tap into new audiences and most
importantly keep writing to a real
writers job is
finished there is always more you can do
so work tirelessly and don't stop until
you are achieving the kind of success
you always dreamed of and don't forget
if you're struggling to write or for
this your book our free writers toolkit
can help with it you'll learn how to
overcome procrastination get organized
stay focused
find time to write and finally get your
book published to get access to it now
while it's still available simply go to

Hello there is Peter here again and
welcome to more tips and advice from
writers life and today how to set your
freelance writing goals becoming a
freelance writer can be a lucrative and
rewarding way to earn a living many
writers who want to free up more time to
work on their novels decide to write
nonfiction articles blogs web content
and much more for clients as freelance
writers to allow them to manage their
time better and earn money doing what
they love however to become successful
as a freelance writer it's important to
set some goals to keep improving not
only the quality of your work but the
kind of work you undertake as well goals
give you motivation direction and allow
you to focus on what's more important to
you - so how do you set goals for
yourself as a freelance writer first
think about what you hope to achieve
goal-setting is all about giving
yourself targets start by thinking about
where you'd like to end up and be clear
and specific this can be both financial
but also around job satisfaction - would
you like to specialize in a particular
area for example start big then try to
work out the step by step actions you
need to take to get you there next
organize your goals in order of priority
working out what you want to achieve the
most and what is most important to real
first is essential some goals might not
be possible to achieve without first
doing something else so by prioritizing
your goals you start to see a timeline
emerge showing you what you need to do
and in what order
next make sure your goals are smart any
goal you set for yourself should adhere
to the smart theory smart means there
should be specific measurable attainable
relevant and time-sensitive thinking
about your goals in this way will mean
that you are very clear about what you
need to do to move forward you also
create deadlines for yourself and make
sure that every goal you set for
yourself is related to your work and
important to you but not so impossible
that you end up getting exasperated with
the process and feeling demotivated next
be prepared to be flexible but hold
yourself accountable sometimes goals
have to be rethought and goal posts need
to be shifted and that's okay
just make sure that you can be flexible
enough to do this and not beat yourself
up about it too much if this is what has
to happen at the same time it's
important to hold yourself accountable
for your goals and track and review
their progress as time goes on becoming
a highly paid and successful freelance
writer won't happen overnight
by setting goals for yourself however
you can pave the way for yourself and

Hello and welcome to more tips and
advice from writers life my name's Peter
and coming up this time can you write a
book while working full-time let's take
a look so many of us have a dream to
complete a novel we have this great idea
for a story in our heads and desperately
want to write it down and share it with
the world
however the practicalities of writing a
novel mean that for many their dream
never becomes a reality writing a novel
takes enormous amounts of dedication and
the time and energy a person needs to be
able to dedicate to their novel makes it
difficult to fit in around their already
busy lives many would-be writers believe
that if only they were able to quit
their job and write they could get that
novel written but doing so while also
working full-time seems like an
impossible task however it can be done
here are some helpful strategies to help
you find more time to write and get your
first novel down even while working full
time first find out when you are most
productive some people can set their
alarms an hour earlier and find that
first thing in the morning they are full
of energy to write others can barely
open their eyes to get up in time for
work as it is that's okay
perhaps you can go to bed an hour later
instead already exhausted
what about break times commuting time or
over lunch your life may seem pretty
full already but finding a time that
works around your schedule and where you
can be productive is possible it's all
about experimenting and then making that
part of your routine it may be that you
don't get the luxury of writing when you
want to but the point is that you can
find time to write if you are truly
determined to do so
and next get your loved ones on board it
will be great to have a dedicated
writing room a place to get our thoughts
organized and let's our creative juices
flow but the reality is that might not
be possible still you can get those you
live with to support you and give you
space and time to write after work if
you've got kids you need to provide them
with attention when you get back from
work and you need to have quality time
with your partner too so make sure you
get home and do just that but then after
dinner when everyone else has settled
down to watch TV for the night or do
homework or whatever you claim that time
as your own even if it's just an hour
you'll be amazed at what you can get
done if your loved ones are all on board
and know that's the time you need to be
yourself to be productive and next give
some stuff up if you really can't find
the time in your schedule to write you
need to evaluate what is more important
to you are there things that you could
give up to give yourself time to write
making sacrifices like this may not be
easy but you'll find it so rewarding
when you start to realize your dream and
next truly dedicate yourself it's so
easy to make excuses and they may well
be valid ones but if writing a book is
important to you it needs to become a
priority if you push yourself and make a
proper commitment to writing anything is
possible you might think you are working
as hard as you can but if you are truly
honest with yourself there's probably
something you could do to become more
effective more efficient and push
yourself even further than you thought
possible next don't compare yourself to
others at the end of the day if you want
to write a book while working full time
you naturally can't expect to keep up
with those writers who can spend the
entire day
their craft so keep things in
perspective and understand that while it
may take you longer to get there the
destination is still the same and will
feel just as good when you arrive do you
work and write at the same time share
your experiences and let us know how you
make it work
and don't forget if he's struggling to
write or finish your book our free
writers toolkit can help with it you'll
learn how to overcome procrastination
get organized
stay focused find time to write and
finally get your book published to get
access now while it's still available
simply go to

Hello there is peter here again from
writers life and coming up this time how
to boost your author profile like never
before
self-promotion doesn't come naturally to
many writers we are generally shy and
flighty creatures who spend much of our
time trying to prepare ourselves for
rejection failure and all-encompassing
do why would we want to bring more
attention to ourselves when doing so not
only suggests we actually think that our
own work is good god forbid but also our
therefore opening up the possibility of
even more people being able to wade in
and tell us how we are wasting our time
and should definitely give up altogether
all with a heartbreaking dream crushing
grin on their faces the problem is
however that without the willingness to
self promote in this day and age your
chances of furthering your writing
career are basically zero luckily there
is masses of information online and in
books about the different ways we can
promote ourselves as writers it's an art
really and one we must learn if we ought
to keep up building audience and
actually sell our work think of your
author platform as your new book take
your time to think about each and
everything you do you can't expect to
create a fantastic author platform
overnight it takes time to build this
opener to
thanks it but if you put the effort in
you'll see a dramatic difference in the
number of engagements you receive and
ultimately the number of readers who
will become loyal fans of your work
firstly be very clear about who you are
train to targets learn what your readers
want what they are interested in and how
they like to receive information think
about how you want your work to be
viewed and make sure you influence your
readers and direct them to this way of
thinking your message should be
consistent you should have a voice and a
style that people can recognize as yours
make sure you keep tabs on where you're
being mentioned Google Alerts is a
simplest way to do this you can easily
set up several alerts such as your name
and book titles and keep track of when
and where you pop up online this way you
can see your author platform growing
before your very eyes make sure you
think people respond to them when they
mention you too and don't make it all
about me this is the golden rule when it
comes to social media use your platform
to mostly share useful funny
entertaining information and only
promote yourself and your work in
between this if you're writing a bunch
of useful articles that will interest
your audience then that's fine you're
sharing this information for free so
people will be glad of it if every
second tweet is a link to buy your book
however people will lose interest and
see you a socially selfish which is
never a good thing there's nothing wrong
with being a bit of a copycat take a
look at your competition writers in the
same field as you or authors you have
how do they handle their author platform
you can learn so much this way from what
kind of content you should be posting to
how frequently to the tone and style
that you should adopt be engaging
responsive and most importantly yourself
people don't like fake whining all those
who try too hard
authors are not brands they are people
and so should act like them fans of your
work will be interested in you and your
life and what you like to do in your
spare time so make sure you keep it
personal don't assume that no one cares
or wants to listen to what you have to
say spark conversations be friendly and
give something back people are sure to
respect you for that a little by little
this will help your author profile grow
and don't forget if you're struggling to
write or finish your book Alfre writer's
toolkit can help with it you'll learn
how to overcome procrastination get
organized stay focused
find time to write and finally get your
book published to get access now while

Hello there it's Peter here again and
welcome along to writers life coming up
this time the ultimate way to become a
better nonfiction writer how do you
become a great nonfiction writer there's
so much choice out there these days
they're being found in order to be ready
Zac Chua Lee one of the most significant
challenges you might have lots of
interesting ideas and things to say and
you even might be able to convey these
through brilliantly compelling writing
but without anyone being able to find
your work how would they ever know
becoming a better nonfiction writer as
with most things is about practice and
careful methodical planning it is a
learning curve and a craft which takes
time to master so if you want to become
successful as a nonfiction writer you
must be willing to put the time and
effort in success is all about quality
you're providing a service to your
readers and if the quality of that
service is fine they will appreciate it
recommend it and come back for more
these are the things you should think
about before you start first what is
your book about your book needs to have
a clear idea of purpose without this
you'll start to writing at loss and off
topic before you've even really begun
you should be able to neatly and clearly
summarize your idea and be able to tell
someone exactly what your book is about
in under 30 seconds
and in under 50 words can you do that
next who are you writing for make sure
you understand your reader and the
potential size of your readership this
needs to be large enough to make writing
the book worthwhile if your subject is
so niche that only a handful of people
would ever find it interesting
useful then you should ask yourself if
it will in fact be worth your while
next is it unique check out your
competition has your idea being done to
death already do people need another
book on this subject if you think you
have an original idea or at least intend
your content to look at a particular
subject from an unusual angle or
perspective then that's great if there
are vast numbers of books covering the
same thing you should think about how
you can make your book unique rather
than rehashing the same old content
asking yourself whether your book is
actually necessary and being able to
answer yourself honestly is crucial if
you're going to make a success of your
book next can you fill a whole book with
what you have to say are you sure you
have enough material no matter how
passionate you are about writing about
your subjects you need to seriously
consider whether you have enough content
to fill an entire book create a content
map before you start does it all make
sense and work together as one book
organizing your ideas and coming up with
a table of contents will help you decide
if you have enough content to continue
and next are you the right person to
write this book can you really call
yourself an authority on your books
content are you willing to do the work
to back up your claims with facts and
historical data just because you have a
great idea it doesn't necessarily mean
you're the right person to write a book
about it make sure you have given this
some thought before you start if you
don't know enough about this subject
then maybe think about getting some help
if you're completely unknown do you
think you'll be able to get your book
see
and next are you willing to promote your
book authors rely heavily on
self-promotion these days to get noticed
if you want your book to succeed you may
well have to get out there and promote
your work are you willing and do you
have the necessary time to do this if
not how do you intend to sell your book
armed with this information you should
not only be able to write a market your
book successfully but also make a
decision about whether you should write
it in the first place if you have a
great idea for a nonfiction book
there's no reason if you are willing to
do the work it can't become a great
success and don't forget if you're
struggling some rights or finish your
book our free writers toolkit can help
with it you'll learn how to overcome
procrastination get organized
stay focused find time to write and
finally get your book published to get
access now while it's still available

Hello Everyone Peter here again from a
writer's life and coming up today five
guaranteed methods to writing and
feature articles writing feature
articles is a great skill and if done
well can make you a lot of money all
businesses can use feature articles on
their websites and as part of their
marketing plan and of course all
publications need feature articles too
so there is no shortage of demand but
how do you learn to write great feature
articles once that you can pitch to
publications or businesses and make
money from with these five simple tips
writing a feature article is easy and
they can be applied to any feature
article regardless of the subject which
therefore turns you into a brilliant and
versatile writer number one know your
audience this is so important and should
have a massive influence on the style of
writing the information you give the
language you use and so on if you aren't
clear about who you are targeting ask
the business or publication to clarify
or better still do your own research to
find out you need to understand why the
reader will come to that business for
help
why they would choose to pick up on that
publication over all the others and what
are they searching for are they reading
for need or for pleasure are they
looking for specific information or just
to be entertained knowing your reader
inside out before you start writing will
help tailor your article so it not only
appeals to them but exactly the right
kind of content to help and satisfy them
and next understand the point
before you begin writing your feature
article it's essential that you are
clear on what is purposes after your
reader has finished what do you expect
them to do next is there a desired
action or reaction that you need the
reader to have if so make sure your
writing is geared towards that and it's
persuasive and to the point next why
should your reader want to read this
step outside yourself for a moment think
about your target reader would they want
to read your article if so why if not
why not you need to understand what's in
it for them
what benefits are there for the reader
and why they would come to you as the
source of these benefits or information
nowadays you'll be hard-pressed to find
a subject that hasn't been covered
elsewhere so unless you're writing about
something incredibly niche or unusual
you need to come up with a fresh angle
or maybe alright in the absolute
authority on that particular topic next
plan your information before you start
writing do your research
prepare your information and come up
with a structure of how your article
will flow if you're writing for the web
your style should be different to print
features this is because readers are far
more likely to skim read your
information therefore make sure you let
them know what it's all about from your
headline also bring the writing of into
essential points so they can quickly
absorb the information and next be ready
for questions it is now so much easier
for customers and readers to communicate
and voice their opinions once they are
finished with your piece pre prepared
for this and anticipate what questions
they might have nothing looks worse than
and I'm not sure response or worse just
silence readers are a lot more forgiving
if you are happy to respond to them
though if someone has been particularly
difficult you may want to move this
discussion away from the public eye by
asking them to contact you directly once
you've completed these steps then you've
done most of the hard work already
therefore writing your articles should
be a breeze
you'll be clear on tone style and voice
and purpose as well as having the
outline of your article already written
so there you go
interesting useful and engaging content
that will appeal to your target audience
and motivate them to act writing a
feature article done and dusted and
don't forget if you struggling to write
or finish your book our free writers
toolkit can help with it
you'll learn how to overcome
procrastination get organized stay

Hello there is Peter here again from
writers life coming up today questions
to ask yourself to see if
self-publishing is right for you in 2007
Amazon launched its self publishing
platform Kindle direct publishing KDP
and changed the world of publishing
dramatically now writers were able to
bypass the lengthy process of sending
their manuscript to publisher after
publisher and save themselves the agony
and disappointment of rejection after
rejection they could simply upload their
document it and viola it was ready for
the world to see since then other
publishing platforms such as Smashwords
and draft2digital have also launched
their versions meaning that writers can
see their words in print as digital
downloads audio books and so on however
just because it's easy doesn't make it
the best option
many writers now bypass the whole
traditional publishing process and opt
straight for self-publishing for the
reasons described and many more reasons
to but doing so without careful thought
and consideration may result in regret
later down the line so before you commit
it's good to ask yourself the following
first when are you planning to release
your book if you want to try and get
your book traditionally published you're
going to have to be patient regardless
of how long it takes to write an editor
book you could expect to wait on average
around 6 months for a publisher to get
back to you with an answer and that
answer might very well be thanks but no
thanks even if you do get a positive
response it
typically take another year before you
see it on the bookshelves alternatively
if he wants a self-publish you can do
this pretty much immediately while this
is much more appealing to those who have
finished their book I want to see out
there as quickly as possible it also may
be more tempting to publish before your
book is ready and next are you hoping to
sell lots of copies if you want millions
of people to buy your book and to make
good money from it the tussle between
traditional and self-publishing is
extremely tricky on self-publishing
platforms the competition is
extraordinarily fierce trying to get
your book into a prominent position is
almost impossible unless you already
have a strong fan base and high profile
platform from which to promote it
however many publishers also demand this
review these days though they have huge
marketing departments of teams of people
who conjure up clever ways to promote
your book if you can prove you have an
audience already they're going to give
your manuscript more serious
consideration taking on a new book from
an unknown author is a risk however good
it is so without being sure they can
sell a significant number of copies
they'll be tough to convince however
traditional publishing is more likely to
enable authors to sell more copies of
their books both physically and
digitally and so if selling copies is
our number one goal securing a contract
with a publisher is your best route to
success next do you want to be in
control of the book authors who can't
bear the idea of anyone else meddling
with their book should always self
publish a traditional publisher will
want to change things and details such
as the book cover will be their decision
while being in charge of every aspects
of your
is a tremendous amount of work you still
have ultimate creative control and can
present it to the world exactly as you
intended a traditional publisher may ask
you to change parts of the story that
you love and once you have signed on the
dotted line will take the reins from you
and you have to be okay with that these
three questions can help me decide what
your ultimate goal is when it comes to
publishing your book answer them as
honestly and as much detail as possible
and I'll have a clear idea of whether
self or traditional publishing is the
right route for you and don't forget if
it's struggling to write or finish your
book our free writers toolkit can help
with it you'll learn how to overcome
procrastination get organized
stay focused find time to write and
finally get your book published to get
access to it now while it's still
available simply go to

HI there its Peter here again from writers
life and coming up today avoidable
writing mistakes when it comes to
writing we know it pays to be
professional
whether we're fictional writes is all
freelance writers making sure we
thoroughly check our work a weed out any
errors is crucial it might be impossible
to create every piece of writing
perfectly every single time
however some writing mistakes seem to
crop up time and time again and if we
take a little more care and are a bit
more aware of them they could perhaps be
easily avoidable so what are some of the
most common of writing mistakes
first of all choosing the incorrect word
many words in the English language have
double meanings or similar Spelling's or
pronunciations but don't mean the same
thing si se a and si s EE for example or
your and you are a spell checker won't
flake these up as they are not incorrect
words if misused however they'll leave
your were looking unprofessional so
remain eagle-eyed for these when
proofreading your work next errors in
sentence construction it's very easy to
make mistakes when
constructing sentences often people
start a comparison in a sentence and
then fail to complete it or write of
fragments of a sentence instead of a
whole one because a verb or subject was
being cluded to correct it an
incorrectly placed comma can also make
sentences clunky or in the worst cases
cause them to have a different meaning
altogether
next mistakes around pronouns using
pronouns as a subject or the object as
sensors can cause mistakes to be paid it
is the person or thing performing an
action within a sentence that is in
subjects and the object is a person or
thing who is being acted upon and next
punctuation errors as well as spelling
and grammar mistakes people often leave
punctuation errors in their texts that
can make them seem a little sloppy for
example adding unnecessary semicolons is
a common mistake and adding commas for
no reason is another a semicolon should
be used when two independent clauses are
joined in the absence of a conjunction a
color however is only necessary between
independent clauses when you use a
conjunction such as and all but of
course there are always instances mainly
when writing creatively that the
standard grammar rules may be broken
even purposefully to create a particular
effect this might be acceptable but
depends on a specific piece and this
intended
audience at the end of the day no writer
is perfect
however by avoiding these corner writing
mistakes you could neaten up your prose
and make your writing more professional
and easier to read to and don't forget

Hi it's Peter here again coming up this
time on writers life how to turn your
ideas into stories there's nothing more
gratifying to a writer than when a
brilliant idea for a new story suddenly
gallops up and bursts into our
imagination that first spark of
inspiration where you think I'm really
on to something here and your heart
starts racing and your fingers start
itching to put pen to paper to make sure
you don't lose it is somewhat magical
indeed it's probably one of the most
exciting parts of the writing process
after all that's not to say it's all
downhill from here
but it is essential to recognize how to
translate these brilliant ideas into
stories that will work and perhaps even
more crucial to identify when that
brilliant idea you had just isn't going
to work and have the ability to let it
go so how do you kickstart the writing
process and turn ideas into stories here
are some useful tips first freely
brainstorm in the initial stages it's
crucial to have an anything-goes
attitude don't be too hard on yourself
from the outset or you might never feel
am able to flush out your ideas well
enough to make a start brainstorming is
a fantastic way to start exploring your
idea to delve a little deeper and to
begin to take shape as a story the more
you can write about it and the more
aspects you can get down the more
options you have remember it's important
not to hold back you might go off on a
few weird wonderful tangents but they
could lead to something brilliant and
next research proper research is
essential for any novel no matter what
you're writing about so whatever
kind of idea you have they'll always be
something you can do to investigating
further research can be incredibly
useful because not only are you learning
more about the topics you intend to
bring into your book and will therefore
be better at writing about them you also
might on earth
further nuggets of inspiration to
motivate your even more next clarify and
pin down your theme and the central idea
once you've finished brainstorming and
doing some initial research you should
now be able to sit down and pin put what
the ideas and themes that are going to
hold your novel together are the more
precisely you can define this the more
sturdy your idea will be without this
it's easy to lose focus and with it the
point of your novel so doing this in the
early stages can be very very helpful
next start to work on your characters a
great story only works with fantastic
characters that are exciting and
engaging from the outset before you
start to write your novel you need to
understand the main characters goals and
motivations how they might develop
throughout the story and what conflicts
and obstacles are going to get in their
way
a next start to incorporate subplots now
try to build upon your central Seamon
plot and start to weave in smaller side
stories or other ideas that complement
them your idea needs to have legs it
needs to be workable as a novel and that
means it needs to take a certain amount
of time to unravel by starting to work
in subplots and other ideas you'll feel
more confident that this idea is going
to work when you come to start writing
and now begin
while it's essential to make sure your
idea has got what it takes to turn it
into an exciting story don't delay the
writing process too much stories often
reveal themselves to the writer as they
write them and there is only so much
research or planning you can do before
you have to trust in your imagination
and creativity and talent and just get
going
turning your ideas it's a fully fleshed
out stories takes time and effort by
giving yourself a moment in the
beginning to do so you can start writing
feeling more confident and assured that
this idea is really going somewhere and
don't forget if it's too late to write
or finish your book our free writers
toolkit can help with it you'll learn
how to overcome procrastination get
organized stay focused find times right
and finally get your book published to
get access now while it's still
available simply go to

Hello there is Peter here again from
writers life and coming up today how to
identify your target audience
every writer no matter what kind of
writing they are doing or what their
subject matter might be should know
their target audience without this
knowledge it is challenging to tailor
your writing to anyone in particular and
with all the competition out there this
makes it very easy for it to get lost in
the ether so whether you're writing an
article or a novel how can you identify
your target audience and ensure that
your work is speaking directly to them
using the themes of your book consider
the groups of people it might interest
it may be evidence if your book is about
something more factual niche or
specialist however many writers may need
to take more time to consider this it
might be that your novel could appeal to
many different groups depending on what
it's about so really work at pinpointing
the various aspects of your plots and
characters and thinking who might relate
to them do your research
are there any other books out there that
have similarities to yours if so have a
look at how they are marketed and who
they are packaged for and use that as
inspiration for your own marketing plans
it can be beneficial to see what other
pieces of writing in your niche are
doing to find new fans and the
strategies they
use to appeal to that target audience
directly figure out your USP thought
USPS would just for businesses well you
thought wrong pinpointing what makes
your book you need can help you become
more clear on who it might appeal to
your hook is the reason someone might
buy your book and you need a sentence at
most to describe what that is the more
clarity you have around this the easier
it will be to decipher what kind of
person might be interested in the story
you are telling creates an ideal reader
thinking about who you wrote the book
for is very important creates a new
character in your mind the ideal reader
give them a name give them a personality
give them likes and dislikes and habits
and quirks the more you know about your
ideal reader the better you'll be a
communicating with them and listening to
what they wants as well once you've done
all this you need to start working out
ways to communicate with your target
audience and let them know you and your
writing exists find out where their
hangout either physically or virtually
and make your presence known there look
at their buying habits and use that
information to catch them when they are
most likely to part with that cache use
your knowledge of them to create
brilliant pieces of marketing that they
just won't be able to resist discovering
your target audience can help you write
with a clear purpose in mind and will
make it so much easier to find ways to
get your writing noticed by the people
who will appeal to the most and don't
forget if it's struggling to rights or
finish your book our free writers
toolkit can help with it you'll learn
how to overcome procrastination and get
organized stay focused
find time to write and finally get your
book published to get access to it now

Hello there Peter here again from
writers life coming up today a very very
important video I think so because I'm a
freelancer and what I'm gonna tell you
here is very very important so the title
of today's video is is going freelance
worth the risk there are lots of reasons
why someone might think it's a great
idea to become a freelance writer but at
the same time they must accept that in
doing so they are taking on a certain
amount of risk but is it worth it let's
weigh up the pros and the Condors first
feast and famine ah the old feast and
famine cycle of being a freelancer
sometimes you are inundated with work at
other times you are twiddling your
thumbs with lots of work comes the
pressures of juggling different
assignments and meeting deadlines
without it you worry that you can't pay
your bills it can be tough but making
sure you try to plan as much as possible
and make provisions to see you through
the more sparse times will help you
manage these are much better next stress
and deadlines as much as you might be
able to try and plan your work there are
always going to be times where you are
up against it and feeling the pressure
there's also the possibility of having
your work returned for amendments which
can lead to suddenly having less time
than you thought
and next managing your finances
as well as good time management it's
also essential to be good with money and
numbers if you want to be a successful
freelancer without being willing to do
the boring stuff as well you could soon
find yourself in trouble managing
finances filling out tax returns and
contingency planning are all part of the
job our next building a client Menace
without a client base you'll end up
going from job to job never feeling any
security and continually worrying about
work drying up building up a good client
base and a solid reputation is so
important however this takes time so
successful freelancers need to be
willing to put the work in next no
holiday sick pay or mention remember if
you are ill you won't get paid and
probably won't get a lot of sympathy
from clients if you miss deadlines due
to sickness either you don't get any
paid holiday or a pension of any of the
comfortable perks of working a normal
job these are all things to take into
consideration before going freelance
full-time so there you have it
being a freelance writer can bring you
fantastic benefits and freedom and can
be a great way to make a living as well
but in doing so you must be prepared for
the highs and the lows and times where
it might feel like you've made a mistake
at the end of the day if you stay
organized plan for all eventualities and
keep persevering it can be everything
you want it to be and an extremely
rewarding career - and don't forget if
it's struggling to write or finish your
book our free writer's toolkit can help
with it you'll learn how to overcome
procrastination get organized stay first
fine times
and finally get your book published to

Hi there is Peter here a game from
writer's life this time how to draw
inspiration from other writers when it
comes to finding inspiration for our
writing there's no better place to look
than our contemporaries there's no more
magnificent tool available to writers of
them books and there's more to be
learned by reading than any classes
qualifications or courses out there many
writers struggle however when it comes
to drawing inspiration from other
writers they are so worried about being
accused of stealing another writers
ideas and so concerned with writing a
story that is utterly unique that they
avoid using the texts that they love and
cherish to aid them while stealing or
the rights of stories and copying their
work is not acceptable writers should in
fact harness all they can from other
writers work there's no harm in being
influenced by another writer by admiring
their ideas and molding them to create
something new doing so isn't cheating
it's merely embracing and celebrating
other writers work finding out what
works and doesn't work and creating
something unique and personal from what
you've learned so how can you draw
inspiration from other writers work
first look at their themes and ideas not
their words lifting words from another
authors book and putting them in your
is not cool however being inspired by
their themes and ideas is fine when you
read a great book focus on what you
loved about it note down the things that
made it work so well and then follow the
same patterns in your own there's lots
you can acquire from another author and
many lessons to learn why are their
characters so great why did they manage
their patient throughout the book what
kind of details made you able to picture
their world these are the things to take
notice of and to try to replicate when
you sit down to write yourself next read
widely in your honor the more widely you
read in the genre you are writing it the
less likely you are to just straight
copy another writers ideas devour as
many books as you can and follow
yourself to absorb all of the stories
you read doing so will help guide you
towards what works and what doesn't and
help you navigate your path and use what
you have learned to help you create your
own unique work learn from the
rule-breakers while other writers can
teach you about the rules of a genre
they can also inspire you to be brave to
experiment and be daring with your
writing read the work of writers who
didn't conform who really tried to do
something entirely different and bring
something fresh to the table absorb
their creative energy their daring
and go forth and do the same next look
at their success stories it's not just
about being inspired by other writers
writing but also their journeys most
writers know how difficult it is to get
noticed to get published to be
successful so looking to those writers
that have made it and the obstacles and
rejections they overcame to get there
can be an inspiration to all of us and
don't forget if it's struggling to write
or finish your book our free writers
talking can help with it you'll learn
how to overcome procrastination get
organized
stay focused find time to write and
finally get your book published to get
access and how well it's still available
simply go to
that's it

Hello its Peter here a game from writers
life and coming up today how to choose a
name for your website every author has
been taught time and time again that
having a great website is essential a
site can be a useful platform to promote
your work to test your writing to gain
new readers and loyal fans and to sell
your books from - in short having a
website is imperative one of the most
important decisions you can make when
building your website is what you are
going to call it a strong domain name
speaks volumes and if you choose
battling you're stuck with it forever
will have to start from scratch what's
wrong so what do you need to consider
when choosing a domain name first
simplicity and memorability one thing
that's very important to consider is how
to make your website name one that's
easy to remember anything too
complicated or convoluted and people
will forget it get it confused with
something else or just spell it wrong
and never be able to find it so choose
with care and try to keep it simple and
straightforward if he can next choosing
your own name many writers choose their
names their website name and this is
usually a safe option it makes sense
it's self promotional and will make it
easy for fans of your work to find you
of course it's possible your name will
already be taken in which case you may
have to add a number or a word into it
to make it unique choosing your name
also gives you freedom to make your
website about anything you want you can
adapt and change it depending on your in
in the future so if you're writing
changes direction then you won't have to
change your website just because of that
next the name that explains what it is
you might like to choose a domain name
that reveals more about the kind of
writing you are for example if you are a
copywriter you could pick something like
copywriting expert com or if you write
gothic novels you could pick something
like the gothic writer com this can be
helpful regarding your website coming up
in search results more readily
however being this specific will make it
difficult if for example you decided to
start writing romance novels in the
future next a name that says something
about you you could also try to
incorporate a bit of personality into
your website name use a nickname or a
play on words or even a different
language if applicable this can be a way
of creating your unique name that shows
you are smart and witty
however these kinds of domain names may
be more difficult to remember finding
the perfect domain name for your website
is well worth taking some time over do
some research to see what your
competitors have used take time to see
what popular sites your target audience
might be interesting in and then go from
there you can call your website
absolutely anything but once you've
decided you're stuck with it
so make sure it's a good one and don't
forget if it's struggling to write or
finish your book our free writers
toolkit can help with it
you'll learn how to overcome
procrastination get organized stay
focused
find time to write and finally get your
book published to get access now while
it's still available simply go to

that's it for now be sure
